Nominations for the 2021 McHenry Awards are being accepted. Deadline for submissions is May 15, 2021.
John McHenry believed there should be an award to say “Thank You” to “Ladies of the Household” who are known as the Subordinate Temple “Worker Bees”. The ladies that are always there when the door opens! They volunteer hours and hours of their time and donate their resources. Temple and Clubs benefit from their work and are able to make significant contributions to the Daughters of the Nile Foundation.

Doriann Stein, President of the Daughters of the Nile Foundation was thrilled to present a check to Shriners Hospitals for Children® – Philadelphia, in the amount of $39, 347, on Thursday, April 18th.
Thanks to your generosity this appropriation will fund the renovation of the current playroom. The goal is to create a modern and fun play space for the children and their families, a play space that would be a non-clinical ‘safe zone’.
It was a great day to be a Daughter of the Nile! Kendall Cusick-Rindone, Treasurer, Daughters of the Nile Foundation, presented Shriners Hospitals for Children®- Salt Lake City a check for $47,393 for 3 pieces of equipment at the February Board of Governors’ meeting.
One piece of equipment to be purchased is a “Broken Screw Remover”. The Chief of Staff commented that this equipment will impact the Children directly and she was extremely grateful for our donation. The Board of Governors at the Salt Lake City, Shriners Hospitals for Children® Salt Lake City, gave the Foundation a standing ovation for their donation.
Doriann Stein, President of the Daughters of the Nile Foundation accompanied by Shirley A. Henley, Supreme Queen of the Daughters of the Nile were honored to present a check on behalf of the Daughters of the Nile Foundation, in the amount of $74,535 to Shriners Hospitals for Children-Greenville on March 14th. This check will fund the purchase of a set of Stryker System 8 Cordless Drivers. Thanks to all Daughters of the Nile for your generosity!
