Our Mission: The Daughters of the Nile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public corporation which maintains a permanent endowment fund to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children®. All monetary donations promote, support and maintain the philanthropic endeavors that enhance the medical care and treatment of the patients in the Shriners Hospitals for Children®.
The Daughters of he Nile Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit charity which generates increased donations for the Convalescent Relief Account (“CRA”) and Convalescent Endowment Fund (“CEF”) from our own members, donations from the public at large, through grants from various levels of government , and by gifts and grants from foundations and corporations.
The business affairs of the Foundation are managed by the Foundation Board of Directors composed of Past Supreme Queens, Ladies of the Household and Past Queens. The Directors are elected at a regular meeting of the Foundation Board of Directors and serve until their successors are chosen and Qualified as provided in the Foundation Bylaws.
