Our Mission: The Daughters of the Nile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public corporation of volunteer women dedicated to the growth of its permanent endowment and, through its annual distribution, benefits Shriners Hospitals for Children®.
Daughters of the Nile Foundation Board of Directors
The Daughters of the Nile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity which generates increased donations for the Convalescent Relief Account (“CRA”) and Convalescent Endowment Fund (“CEF”) from our own members, donations from the public at large, through grants from various levels of government, and gifts and grants from foundations and corporations.
The business affairs of the Foundation are managed by the Foundation Board of Directors composed of members of the Daughters of the Nile. The Directors are elected at a regular meeting of the Foundation Board of Directors and serve until their successors are chosen and qualified as provided in the Foundation Bylaws.
This year there will be up to five (5) Director positions open, with only one Director having the possibility of being re-elected. The Foundation is looking for diverse and well-qualified applicants. Your interest in becoming a Director on the Foundation is highly encouraged.
If you are interested in serving as a Director on the Foundation Board of Directors, even if you have applied previously or have served as a Director more than three years ago, please refer to the entire Application Package emailed to the Princess Recorder in each Subordinate Temple.
