Shriners Children’s Shreveport Check Presentation
On Wednesday, June 19th Maria Boyer-Jensen and Cindy Vann had the pleasure of meeting with Jennifer Martin and Jennifer Laurent along with an additional 11 ladies from Khafra Temple No. 121, to present a check in the amount of $47,590.00 to Shriners Shreveport for the Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS).
It was a special privilege to be able to see a demonstration given on the new piece of equipment highlighting the diversity it will give the Physical Therapists while they are working with our children. This equipment focuses on not only balance but coordination as well.
We took a tour of the hospital which was indeed informative, and the day culminated with a wonderful lunch and social time with the ladies from Shriners Shreveport and Khafra Temple 121.
