Since 1924, members and friends of Daughters of the Nile have contributed over $60 million to Shriners Hospitals for Children®. This achievement makes Daughters of the Nile one of the largest single contributors to this remarkable network of hospitals. Each year, hundreds of children with orthopedic conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs are treated in a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment. Shriners Hospitals for Children® treats children without regard to race, color, creed, sex, disability, national origin or ability of the patient or family to pay. The care given is the best in the world, and many techniques and treatments that are common in hospitals around the country today were pioneered at Shriners Hospitals for Children®.
Daughters of the Nile across North America work tirelessly in raising money for Shriners Hospitals for Children® through the Daughters of the Nile Foundation. Donations to the Convalescent Endowment Fund and Convalescent Relief Account mean help for children today and in the future.
