As part of their legacy of service to Shriners Hospitals for Children®, the Daughters of the Nile organization implemented the Daughters of the Nile Foundation to provide funds in support of the hospitals’ mission of providing essential medical care to children in need. This year the foundation is pleased to have set a new milestone in their support of the hospitals, topping $2 million in donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Shreveport, LA, and over $56 million in support to the Shriners Hospitals for Children system. Vickie Hill, President of the Daughters of the Nile Foundation Board of Directors, joined with local DON representatives in presenting hospital leadership with a $2 million commemorative plaque.
